Gate valve with flanges, fixed shaft and EPDM resilient wedge. Made of GGG50 cast iron with RAL5013 epoxy paint coating, resilient cast iron seat + EPDM coating and flanges in accordance with DIN EN-1092-2. The gate valve is used to open or close the flow of fluids and in some cases to regulate the flow of fluids. It withstands a maximum working pressure of 16 bar (250 psi) and is suitable for operating temperatures from -10 to 80°C. Model 5113 has a handwheel or square handle and is ideal for hot and cold water, irrigation, sewage and septic tank applications as well as fire and chemical neutral systems. MT cast iron valves have been designed in accordance with the standards UNE EN-1074, UNE EN-1171 and DIN 3352 and can be installed both horizontally and vertically.
